FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

General FAQs

  • I believe personal styling is extremely personal. Clothes have a major impact on your daily life and in order for it to be sustainable, it’s important for me to know your goals. Before we begin any service, please book a free discovery call where we can dive a bit deeper into what some of your main frustrations are and how I can help. Following our discussion we can mutually decide if a Reoutfit aligns with your needs.

I love styling women and giving you confidence back through clothes, but also encourage the sessions to be a collaborative approach. love working with clients who are open-minded and excited to explore fresh styles, unique brands, and hidden gems. My goal is to strike the perfect balance—pushing style boundaries just enough to inspire, while keeping you comfortably in your element.

  • No. My reasoning is simple: I don't believe in restricting your choices based on your skin tone or certain colors. Your preferences should be the main focus. If you love a color, wear it. If you don't, then don't.

As an ex-merchandiser, my 15 years of retail experience as taught me that colors available in stores at any given time never include everyone’s color palates. They are driven by trend. Therefore you may be waiting seasons or years to get that exact swatch match. It's more crucial to find garments with the appropriate fit, fabrics, and cuts that align with your lifestyle and personality than to be concerned with a limited spectrum of colors. If color analysis is something you're specifically seeking, I recommend seeking out a more traditional image consultant who offers that service.

  • For a Full Reoutfit, a budget of $5,000 SGD or more allows for the most flexibility and the best results. However, I've successfully created wardrobes with smaller budgets too. The key is that we're on the same page about building a functional, wearable wardrobe rather than always chasing new pieces.

Quality pieces generally range from $200 to $800 each in the contemporary market, while luxury items typically start around $800 and up. For clients who lean toward luxury pieces or fine jewelry, a higher budget may be necessary to achieve the desired look. I carefully curate a blend of contemporary, luxury, and budget-friendly pieces tailored to each client’s budget, with a focus on delivering the most elevated options for your investment.

My approach prioritizes purchasing items that are high-quality and versatile, rather than focusing on quantity. This shift encourages moving away from “how many pieces” to a more curated, thoughtful approach rooted in quality and price-per-wear value. When you invest in better-quality clothes, they become pieces you’ll want to reach for time and again.

If your primary focus is only to procure fast fashion brands like Zara, H&M, Mango, or Sezane, I may not be the best fit. While exceptions can be made for purposeful items that complement your wardrobe, I don’t source from brands like SHEIN, Temu, Fashion Nova, or ASOS. Additionally, I’m a big believer in preloved pieces at any budget level, even luxury, and I’m happy to incorporate them into our work together if you’re open to adding this sustainable option to your wardrobe.

We have experience accommodating budgets ranging from an average of $200 SGD per item up to a total spend of $70K+ SGD, and everything in-between.

  • YES! If you really dislike shopping or are short on time, The Premier Full Reoutfit package was created just for you! Read here for more details.

    For Full Reoutfit clients:

    • I encourage you to come shopping with me in person, even if you prefer to purchase everything online later. I promise to make it as painless as possible. It is important from a sustainability standpoint to try certain cuts and styles out on your body.

    • If you struggle to shop online please let me know, we can help guide you through sizing and returns. We suggest a lot of online retailers with very easy returns process and highly recommend being open-minded to online as Singapore & Hong Kong does not have the variety of contemporary-luxury price points and sizes.

This minimal try-on fee is designed to ensure optimal results with convenience and ease.

  • I firmly believe tailoring and alterations are key to changing your relationship with clothes and fit. Not any one garment is made to fit everyone perfectly! Therefore we ask our clients to build in a budget for alterations. Clients are responsible for covering tailoring fees, which range from $10 to $150 SGD per garment, depending on the scope of work. These fees are to be paid directly to the tailor, with all responsibilities and agreements remaining between the client and the tailor.

  • Every client is unique, with different needs based on their lifestyle, shopping habits, and sustainability goals. Our "style suggestions" are intentionally capped for each package to encourage thoughtful, sustainable purchases that truly enhance your wardrobe. Each lookbook blends your existing pieces with carefully selected new styles, emphasizing versatility by showing how to wear the same item in multiple ways.

Our style suggestions often include multiple variations of the same idea to provide you with a range of options to choose from. The number of suggestions included in each package reflects what we recommend, not the exact number of pieces to purchase. For example, the Full Reoutfit package includes 80 online style suggestions to help round out your wardrobe. However, this doesn't mean purchasing all 80 pieces or that we revise until 80 are bought. Each client’s final purchases will vary based on their individual needs, budget, and preferences. If you’re looking to buy 80 new pieces, we might not recommend a Reoutfit, as we prioritize a more mindful and sustainable approach to shopping.

If your goal is to build a curated wardrobe you'll love and reach for time and time again, we might be a perfect fit. However, if you're seeking the maximum number of looks without focusing on long-term wearability, my approach may not align with what you’re looking for. I’d love to help if my style philosophy resonates with you!
